All of the jewelry and or wearable sculpture is made
and designed by Elizabeth Allen Tuttie. She is one of Maines' most admired artists and jewelry designers. Elizabeth has
superbly captured the liveliness and grace of these wonderful animals, in this unique group of miniature sculptures. They
are small, elegant, wearable sculptures individually hand cast from solid sterling silver and14kt gold. All are beautifully
hand finished. Each one captures, in miniature, a moment in the life of a living creature.
Elizabeth attended Goddard College where she majored
in fine art, developing her skills primarily in the three dimensional medium. Throughout her life she has had a love for nature
and now incorporates this love with her natural talent as a designer into these wearable wildlife sculptures. This work is
now being created in the small coastal village of Brooklin, Maine where she presently owns and operates Main Gem Gallery,
a retail shop for her wearable sculpture and jewelry and photography. She is also an accomplished large format photographer
working primarily in Platinum prints.
